This practice is only for select initiates of the school. Dechan Jeuren, the MahaVairocana Dharma King, and lineage bearer of the Chinese Esoteric School, for the first time broke away from tradition and for the sake of saving people, gave special permission to transmit to the public. The first time that the Dharma King spoke about this practice was about six months before the SARS outbreak, and in a university in Amherst, Massachusetts. The Dharma King described the karmic origin, the first outbreak region, the symptoms and how in a few days from catching this new epidemic one may die.
