Vajracharya Eduardo, Chanyuan Denao, was born in Chihuahua, Mexico.
With an industrial engineering degree from
Texas A&M
University, he had helped the launching of three large
manufacturing facilities in Mexico.
He returned to his hometown and opened a welding shop while volunteering for a nonprofit organization for the development of rural alternatives. His work involved teaching a number of skills, such as organic growing, compost, greenhouse construction, water catchments for irrigation and drainage management, solar ovens for dried goods, natural generation of electricity and other methods. In 2002, he moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where he became a Reiki Master and a member of the Jorei Fellowship. He met Dechan Jueren while attending a healing session in Boston. This was a profound experience for him, which led to his seeking refuge with Dechan Jueren in Toronto, Canada, where he became a disciple in November 2003.
